How to Care for & Wash Cashmere
Cashmere is a delicate material, so we recommend washing it as little as possible. Between washes, simply airing the garment in fresh air is usually sufficient.
It is safe to wash cashmere in a washing machine; use the wool program with a short cycle, never exceeding 30 degrees. Avoid spin-drying. To protect the garment as much as possible, it’s best to use a special wool detergent without alkali, as well as a laundry bag. Remember to never use fabric softener.
